Cornavirus update

Peace Baptist Church Coronavirus Statement
Greetings church family.  As new cases of the Coronavirus are reported across the world  including in Cincinnati, our elders are urging education, caution and common sense.
Due to this serious situation, we are cancelling our normal Sunday worship services and our various D.L.T. studies for the upcoming week and we will evaluate each week. The church building, at 652 Rockdale Ave, 45229, will be closed to the public until further notice.  We are asking all members to listen to the "robocalls", as that will be one of our major modes of communication.  Also, once you have heard the robocall message, please pass the information on.  If you are not currently getting robocall messages, please contact one of the elders and we will add you.
We are attempting to broadcast our Sunday worship services on our website at www.peacebaptist.org during our normal worship service time 10:45AM.
While this was a difficult decision to make, it was not made out of fear but out of a hope to be protective of the communities and people that we serve; 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. "
Thank you all for your continued cooperation regarding safety and precaution relating to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, especially refraining from shaking hands and please continue washing your hands regularly. Knowing that Peace Baptist is a contagious Christian community loving others to Christ, we do apologize for this inconvenience. Still, your continued cooperation is recommended by top health experts and the government at this time to help keep everyone safe.
Finally, despite the negative coverage recently about the Coronavirus, some of which is entirely justified, our hope remains in the Word of God, and the advice is not to panic.
Paul penned, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful." Colossians 3:15
David wrote, "The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace." Psalm 29:11
So, let's keep calm and carry on day by day and week by week in faith and with expectancy and believe God for all good things. "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Blessings,
